Mission Statement

Our mission is to lessen the emotional and physical effects of PTS/PTSD in First Responders through fly fishing and brotherhood.

Vision Statement

We envision a community of First Responders who strive to manage the stress of their profession in healthy ways, utilizing fly fishing as a means to heal wounds seen and unseen, and combat the negative effects of PTS/PTSD.

Core Values

Community – As a brotherhood of individuals, we know the value of community and the healing that can take place together.

Compassion – We strive to enable those affected by PTS/PTSD to seek physical and emotional healing through fly fishing, and the benefits of the outdoors.

Trust – We trust in each other.  We trust in the process of healing.  We trust in the power of fly fishing to help us access healthier ways to manage our stress.

Our goals are task oriented and measurable. The main focus of our goals are to allow our brothers and sisters to heal in an alternative fashion, and utilize their time on the water to calm the effects of PTS and PTSD.

Goal One

Continue outreach to all first responders and offer an alternative means of healing.

Goal Two

Expand our outings to multiple days, and continue to provide all trips free of charge.

Goal Three

Continue our mission of healing on the water, and bolster the sense of community and brotherhood amongst those suffering.
